People always say, “children are the future” and that’s true.  Without the work of children and teaching them…there essentially would be nothing in the future. The news kids KNOW this! They are taking matters into their own hands and doing what is right amongst themselves and society.  When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the news kids’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.
